Golden Beaches Helicopter Tour Info
Twenty minutes does not seem like much time when you’re living everyday life, but when you take a helicopter tour with Miami Helicopter through the South Florida skies, 20 minutes will create a photo album of images that will last a lifetime! The Miami Opa Locka Executive Airport is located in the central area of the Miami Metropolis of West Palm Beach, Ft. Lauderdale, and Miami, and that is where this tour’s journey begins.
First, travel through the skies towards North Miami’s plush neighborhoods such as the opulent Eastern Shores and North Miami Beach with amazing ocean views and a bird’s eye view of the city’s skyline. Then soar over the pristine landscapes of the Florida State Parks of the area and into the northern parts of the Biscayne Bay where Bal Harbour and Surfside reside, sharing the ocean on one side of their shores, and the bay on the other.

View Miami Beach From One Of Our Tour Helicopters
Continuing south towards Miami Beach. This is where our Taste of Miami Tour ends and the Golden Beaches Tour begins! With the Atlantic on one side of the helicopter and the Biscayne Bay on the other don’t forget to gander towards the neon coated avenues of South Beach ahead. Inland, catch a view of American Airlines Arena, home of the former World Champion Miami Heat Basketball Team. Just north of there is Dorsey park, there to honor one of America’s first black millionaires, Dana A. Dorsey, the former owner of what is now know today as Fisher island.
Fisher Island has become a daunting place of refuge for some, and a discriminating socio-economic challenge to others. Only accessible by auto-ferry or yacht, this private residential community possesses the finest residential and recreational amenities found anywhere in the world.
After seeing the amazing spread of yachts and other marine anomalies, the helicopter tour will redirect, heading back north and up through the central area of Miami’s downtown district where you can catch a distant view of Fisher Island, Virginia Key, Dodge Island and the others resting in the northern parts of the barrier island chain.
From here you will see Marlins Park where the Miami Marlins play baseball, as well as Fern Isle Park and Grapeland Water Park. Keep looking west, and you will see the massive spread of the Miami International Airport, just south of Virgina Gardens. Finishing our tour, we then head up to Amelia Earhart Park before landing.
Sightseeing in the city of Miami has never been so breathtaking. Having taken in the sights of South Beach, Miami, and Miami Beach simultaneously is something very few people can they have accomplished. We like to remind our passengers what they can expect with their Miami helicopter tour – great customer service, beautiful views of Miami as far as you can see, and of course, a safe journey around our beautiful city and beyond.
